Clinical Approach

Our Approach to Psychotherapy

I primarily draw from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) framework. These perspectives help us examine patterns in thoughts and behaviors, understand how relationships shape emotional well-being, and develop more flexible and effective ways of responding to life’s challenges.

Together, we will focus on:

Identifying patterns in thinking, behavior, and relationships that affect performance, satisfaction or resilience

Understanding how habits, assumptions, and interactions shape outcomes.

Clarifying beliefs and assumptions that may be contributing to stress, burnout or inefficiency

Examining the stories you tell yourself and how they impact action.

Developing practical strategies to improve focus, communication, emotional regulation and follow-through

Building skills that remain useful long after therapy ends.

Supporting sustainable functioning during periods of high demand, transition and uncertainty

Steadier performance and decision-making when pressure is high.

Target Focus

Who this Practice is Designed for

You may be capable, reliable, and used to managing a great deal. Over time, ongoing stress, challenges with focus or follow-through, or a major life transition can start to wear on your sense of steadiness and confidence – even if you’re still functioning well on the outside.

I tend to work best with people who want therapy to be active and purposeful – structured, goal-directed, and built around steadier functioning over time in the roles that matter most to their families and communities.

Reconnecting with purpose, motivation, and a clearer sense of direction.
