A Structured, Evidence-Based Approach to Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy For High-Responsibility Roles

Thoughtful support for adults navigating anxiety, low mood, ADHD-related concerns, and the strain of carrying significant responsibility.

Psychology for People Who Carry A Lot of Responsibility

You may be capable, reliable, and used to managing a great deal. Over time, ongoing stress, challenges with focus or follow-through, or a major life transition can start to wear on your sense of steadiness and confidence—even if you’re still functioning well on the outside.

I provide thoughtful, evidence-based psychotherapy for adults who carry significant responsibility and want more than short-term relief. The work is structured and collaborative, with attention to how stress, attention, and emotional patterns affect day-to-day life across work, relationships, and personal roles. The goal is to help you regain steadiness and direction, and to move forward in a way that feels sustainable and aligned with what matters to you.

 Areas of Focus
  • Chronic burnout and cognitive exhaustion

  • Attention, focus, and executive functioning difficulties

  • Career, leadership, or role transitions

  • Identity disruption following role loss or prolonged strain

  • Ethical stress, values conflict, and moral fatigue

  • Need for clear diagnostic or functional understanding

Approach to Psychotherapy

My approach is grounded in helping you translate awareness into meaningful, sustainable change.Therapy is collaborative, structured, and evidence-based. I draw primarily from cognitive-behavioral and interpersonal frameworks, integrating attention to identity, values and real-world functioning. Our work is tailored to your goals, the demands of your role, and the context in which difficulties arise.

Together, we will focus on:

  • Identifying patterns in thinking, behavior, and relationships that affect performance, satisfaction, or resilience
  • Clarifying beliefs and assumptions that may be contributing to stress, burnout, or inefficiency
  • Examining how your history, values, and roles shape decision-making and self-expectations
  • Developing practical strategies to improve focus, communication, emotional regulation, and follow-through
  • Supporting sustainable functioning during periods of high demand, transition, and uncertainty

Therapy is not open-ended by default. When appropriate, our work is goal-directed and time-limited with regular attention to progress and adjustment. The aim is not simply symptom relief, but improved effectiveness and alignment between how you function and what matters most to you.

Insurance-Based Psychotherapy:

Psychotherapy may be covered through select insurance plans when scheduled via Headway. Through Headway, I currently accept Aetna, Regence BlueShield of Washington, and Premera Blue Cross Washington. Headway manages insurance billing and benefit verification, and coverage is determined by your individual plan.

If your insurance plan is not accepted, I am happy to provide a superbill upon request. A superbill allows you to seek potential out-of-network reimbursement directly from your insurance company. I recommend confirming your out-of-network mental health coverage with your insurance provider prior to scheduling.
